Colour: A properly baked loaf should have a golden-brown crust (uppermost part of the bread loaf): If the crust is pale or light, the bread might be undercooked

Heaviness: Undercooked bread tends to feel heavier than fully baked bread. This is because it retains more moisture and has not fully expanded. A properly baked loaf will feel lighter and more airy.

Smell: If the bread still smells like raw dough, it probably needs more time to bake.

So next time you’re buying bread, take an extra moment to make sure it’s fully cooked. Your stomach and your health will thank you!
